Privacy & Cookie Policy

Fixius Holdings ("Fixius", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through www.fixius.co, how we use it, the cookies and analytics we use, and the rights you have under UK, European and United States privacy laws.

1. Who we are (Data Controller)

Fixius Holdings, 8 Manor Gardens, Farncombe, Surrey GU7 3LL, United Kingdom — a Private Limited Company registered in England and Wales, Registration No. 12142014. For any privacy matter, contact enquiries@fixius.co.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, the topic of your enquiry and your message.

Information collected automatically. If you consent, we collect standard analytics data (such as pages visited, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type) and marketing-measurement data, through the third-party tools described in Section 5. Without your consent, we do not run analytics or marketing tools.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and conduct any follow-up correspondence.
  • To keep a record of enquiries for administrative and legal purposes.
  • With your consent, to understand how the site is used and improve it, and to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use three categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the website and, where applicable, to remember your cookie choices. These are always active and do not require consent.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics, to produce anonymous, aggregated usage statistics. Loaded only with your consent.
  • Marketing — the LinkedIn Insight Tag, to measure and improve our campaigns. Loaded only with your consent.

When you first visit, we ask for your choice via a cookie banner. Non-essential cookies are not set until you opt in. You can accept all, reject all, or choose by category, and you can change your choice at any time using the link in the footer.

5. Third-party services

  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland/LLC) — website analytics. IP anonymisation is enabled. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland) — campaign measurement. See LinkedIn's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Fonts — typefaces are served by Google, which may log technical request data such as IP address.

These providers may transfer data outside the UK/EEA under appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US / UK–US Data Privacy Framework).

6. Legal bases (UK & EU GDPR)

  • Responding to enquiries — our legitimate interest in handling correspondence you initiate, and steps taken at your request.
  • Analytics and marketing cookies — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
  • Legal record-keeping — compliance with our legal obligations.

7. Data retention

Enquiry records are kept only as long as needed to handle your matter and to meet legal or accounting obligations, then deleted. Analytics data is retained per the provider's configured retention period.

8. Your rights

UK & EU residents. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk).

US residents (including California). Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access or delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, or to opt out of analytics/marketing, use the link or contact us. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise any right, email enquiries@fixius.co. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Enquiry records are stored securely and are not publicly accessible.

10. Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and, where required, we will ask for your consent again.
